The weather today has been freezing, not literally, but it feels like it. Misty rain plus cold temperature plus a cold breeze - all makes for an unpleasant day, however we did go to Herstmonceux to their observatory. There is a terrific science museum there now that the observatory is not used any more (as I understand it). They have loads of hands on displays for the kids to participate in and for the grown ups as well!
