A solo mission to Yeovilton

On our last full day in Wiltshire (near Bath), I managed to get some time to spend on one of my interests.  Sharon, Max and Jemima all elected to stay at our holiday house while I went to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. I had a blast - and if the others had have come, I am sure they would have enjoyed it as well.

An unusual view of the Concorde - head on with the nose up!
The Fairy Delta - used in part to prototype the delta wing of the Concorde.
Not a lot of forward visibility in the Concorde with the nose up - as they would for supersonic cruse.
  Classic F4U Corsair from WW2
The Seafire - basically a marinised Spitfire
The Sea Harrier in it's latest paint scheme as they left service a few years ago.
Supermarine Walrus with it's wings folded back

A pair of Harriers - one Sea Harrier from the Falklands War and another current spec RAF GR.9 model.
One of the six prototype's that paved the way for the development of the Harrier.
